Nothing Special

I came home from Arizona where temperatures(not temps) were in the 90s to a high of 47.  I got out my flannels, turned on the electric blanket, and had a "long winter's nap."  I so wish that Mom and Dad to Anyone could experience such a well deserved nap!

I went to the farm for milk in the rain, got groceries and prepared all the items for use. That is I washed the grapes, cut up the broccoli, washed the lettuce, made egg/chicken salad,(I call it my medicine.) and got dinner started.  I went through the accumulated mail and the current mail, read two days of papers, and watched "Are you smarter than a fifth grader" on our new TV.

Poor Mike!  He had quite an experience trying to teach us how to use that new TV after taking his precious time to get it all set up.  We appreciate him so much!  Gone are the days of walking up to your TV and pushing or turning a button to make it go, changing channels and volume!  After that I checked my email and heard a forwarded hilarious video about setting up for the new digital TV programming.  It kind of hit home!  I am used to being on top of things, but technology is racing past me at a scary pace!  I don't particularly like being left in a cloud of dust!

New technology=brain stretching or is that straining?
