Communion Thoughts

Knowing my inability to get around without a map, I thought you might be interested in the communion thoughts we had this am.

The man indicated his love of maps and that there are maps hung in many of the rooms of his house. He tried a "scientific" experiment. He stood squarely in front of his world map, closed his eyes and touched the map. When he opened his eyes his finger was on the USA. He then stood in front of his USA map and repeated the test. His finger was on Nebraska. He stood in front of his Nebraska map and his finger landed on Omaha. He had to go looking for a map of Omaha, and then taped it to the wall. His finger rested on the exact location of his house! His conclusion: the whole world revolved around him. He then went on to explain that his egocentric view was not compatible with scripture. We are not to be lured by worldliness, but we are to keep our focus on Jesus. My reiterating it has lost his sense of timing, and his citing of verses, but it was a good preparation for a time of remembering the sacrifice of our Lord.
