When I was two we didn't have any "good" paper, so mom would let me use my older sister's crayons (She was in school.), and draw on the paper from a brown paper sack from the grocery store. I remember laying on the linoleum floor in the dining room and drawing/copying pictures from Christmas cards. I was careful to choose pictures that had a clear outline, such as a bell or church or window. When I was seven years old I rode the street car by myself to Joslyn Art Museum to take art lessons. I am not sure if I learned anything there or not.
