You got that right. I heard a sermon long ago that I remember well. He posed the question "what is the one essential to have salvation?" He went on to give some common answers but found them all inadequate. His answer to that question was humility. Without humility one never recognizes his need for salvation in the first place. I am convinced that it is the underlying reason for all sin, thus the reason that with total humility we would find utopia.
